Network Monitor Page

The Network Monitor page displays information about the selected network traffic type. To view network activity, navigate to the Monitoring > Live Monitoring > System Monitor > Network tab, click the Select menu, and select the desired traffic type to assess its throughput over the displayed trending period.

The Network Monitor page displays network activity (in bytes) for the following supported traffic types:

OnGuard - Displays OnGuard traffic over port 6658 for the listed trending period.

Database Traffic - Displays open source relational database traffic over both ports 5432 and 5433 for the listed trending period. Select any point on the port 5432 or 5433 trending timeline to display specific port traffic information for the specific time selected.

Database Connections - Displays configuration and session database active connection traffic for the listed trending period.

Web Traffic - Displays HTTP Hypertext Transfer Protocol. The HTTP is an application protocol to transfer data over the web. The HTTP protocol defines how messages are formatted and transmitted, and the actions that the w servers and browsers should take in response to various commands. traffic over port 80 and HTTPS Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure. HTTPS is a variant of the HTTP that adds a layer of security on the data in transit through a secure socket layer or transport layer security protocol connection. traffic over port 443 for the listed trending period.

RADIUS Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service. An Industry-standard network access protocol for remote authentication. It allows authentication, authorization, and accounting of remote users who want to access network resources.  - Displays Radius authentication traffic on ports 1645 and 1812 and RADIUS Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service. TACACS Terminal Access Controller Access Control System. NTP Network Time Protocol. NTP is a protocol for synchronizing the clocks of computers over a network. - Displays clock synchronization traffic over port 123 for the listed trending period.
