Overview of Instant AP Users
The Instant AP users can be classified as follows:
- Administrator—An admin user creates SSIDs Service Set Identifier. SSID is a name given to a WLAN and is used by the client to access a WLAN network., wired profiles, and DHCP Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. A network protocol that enables a server to automatically assign an IP address to an IP-enabled device from a defined range of numbers configured for a given network. server configuration parameters; and manages the local user database. The admin users can access the virtual controller Management UI User Interface..
- Guest administrator—A guest interface management user manages guest users added in the local user database.
- Administrator with read-only access—The read-only admin user does not have access to the Instant CLI Command-Line Interface. A console interface with a command line shell that allows users to execute text input as commands and convert these commands to appropriate functions.. The WebUI will be displayed in the read-only mode for these users.
- Employee users—Employees use the enterprise network for official tasks.
- Guest users—Guest users are those who temporarily use the enterprise network to access the Internet.
The user access privileges are determined by Instant AP management settings in the AirWave Management
