Configuring Branch Aggregate Routes
To configure branch aggregate routes using the SD-WAN Software-Defined Wide Area Network. SD-WAN is an application for applying SDN technology to WAN connections that connect enterprise networks across disparate geographical locations. Orchestrator, complete the following steps:
- In the WebUI, set the filter to .
- Under , click > .
- Click the Config icon to display the configuration dashboard.
- Navigate to Route Aggregates > Branch Aggregate.
- Click + and configure the following parameters:
- Select a segment from the Select Segment drop-down list.
- To enable dynamic backup routes, select the Dynamic backup route advertisement check box.

HPE Aruba Networking recommends that you define a summary IP range to reduce the routing table size of the Branch Gateways.
