The default visibility when Personal AirGroupis enabled is categorized as follows:

Personal Servers—visible by default only to device owners in the vicinity.

Public Servers—visible by default to everyone in the vicinity, or as per policy enforcement.
How do I switch a device's visibility between Personal and Public?
Personal devices can be made public, while public devices cannot be made personal.
To set the visibility of a personal device to public, complete the following steps:

Under the Manage > Applications > AirGroup page, click the List
icon. -
Click Servers.

From the Servers table,

Hover over the table entry of the device that you want to set to public.

Click the plus
icon at the end of the selected row, on the right.
The username of the selected device is set as a public username and is added to the Username(s) associated with public server list in the Manage > Applications > AirGroup> Config page.

To set the visibility type of a public device back to Personal, complete the following steps:

Under the Manage > Applications > AirGroup page, click the Config
icon. -
Click Servers.

Under the Username(s) associated with public server list, click the delete
icon, corresponding to the device you want to set to Personal.
Does Personal AirGroup support devices that use MAC addresses as usernames?
Yes, devices with MAC addresses as their usernames are always classified as public device, and will not be visible to anyone except itself.
Does AirGroup mandate the usage of specific authentication servers to support Personal AirGroup?
Personal AirGroup works with any authentication server, if servers are onboarded using a username-based authentication. However Personal AirGroup mandates the usage of the CloudAuth authentication server for devices onboarded using MPSK.
I want all my users to see all the servers. What is the recommended configuration?
This is not a recommended configuration for a network with more that 30 servers. However, if necessary, a global policy must be configured for each server in the network.
