Configuring AirGroup Services at the Global Level

Ensure that the following AirGroup pre-requisite(s) is(are) met:

  • An AOS-10 group should be available.

To configure AirGroup services at the global level, complete the following procedure:

  1. In the Classic Central app, set the filter to Global.
  2. Under Manage, click Applications > AirGroup.
  3. Click the Config icon.
  4. In the Services table, hover over the required AirGroup service, and click .
  5. To enable the service, click Yes.
  6. To allow the service on the required VLANs Virtual Local Area Network. In computer networking, a single Layer 2 network may be partitioned to create multiple distinct broadcast domains, which are mutually isolated so that packets can only pass between them through one or more routers; such a domain is referred to as a Virtual Local Area Network, Virtual LAN, or VLAN., select Allow service from the On these VLANs drop-down list.

    Allowing an AirGroup service on VLANs is optional. If configured, the AirGroup service is available only on the specified VLANs.

  7. Specify the VLANs on which the service must be allowed in VLANs.
  8. Specify a service description in the Description field.
  9. To allow the service on the required roles, select Allow service from the For these client roles drop-down list.

    Allowing an AirGroup service on client roles is optional. If configured, the AirGroup service is only available for the specified client roles.

  10. To specify the roles for which the service must be allowed, click the plus icon, next to For these client roles.
  11. In the Client Roles table, select the required client roles and click Apply.
  12. Click Save.
