Configuring AirGroup Services at the Global Level
Ensure that the following AirGroup pre-requisite(s) is(are) met:
- An AOS-10 group should be available.
To configure AirGroup services at the global level, complete the following procedure:
- In the Classic Central app, set the filter to .
- Under , click .
- Click the
Config icon. - In the table, hover over the required AirGroup service, and click
. - To enable the service, click .
- To allow the service on the required VLANs Virtual Local Area Network. In computer networking, a single Layer 2 network may be partitioned to create multiple distinct broadcast domains, which are mutually isolated so that packets can only pass between them through one or more routers; such a domain is referred to as a Virtual Local Area Network, Virtual LAN, or VLAN., select from the drop-down list.
Allowing an AirGroup service on VLANs is optional. If configured, the AirGroup service is available only on the specified VLANs.
- Specify the VLANs on which the service must be allowed in .
- Specify a service description in the field.
- To allow the service on the required roles, select from the drop-down list.
Allowing an AirGroup service on client roles is optional. If configured, the AirGroup service is only available for the specified client roles.
- To specify the roles for which the service must be allowed, click the
plus icon, next to . - In the table, select the required client roles and click .
- Click .
