Configuring AirGroup Server Policy at the Global Level
Ensure that the following AirGroup pre-requisite(s) is(are) met:
- An AOS-10 group should be available.
To configure the AirGroup server policy at the global level, complete the following procedure:
- In the WebUI, set the filter to global.
- Under , click .
- Click the
Config icon. - Click .
- In the table, click the
icon. - In the table:
- Specify the name of the server in .
- Specify the MAC Media Access Control. A MAC address is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on a network. address of the server in .
- To allow the server on the required roles, select from the drop-down list.
Allowing an AirGroup server on client roles is optional. If configured, the AirGroup server is available only on the specified client roles. The AirGroup server will not be available on unspecified client roles.
- To specify the roles for which the service must be allowed, click the
plus icon next to . - In the table, select the required client roles and click .
- To allow the server to be visible on required access points, click the
plus icon next to . - In the table, select the required access points, and click .
Selecting one or more access points is mandatory for server policy.
- Click .
