Configuring AirGroup Services at a Group Level
Ensure that the following AirGroup pre-requisite(s) is(are) met:
- An AOS-10 group should be available.
To configure AirGroup services at a group level, complete the following procedure:
- In the WebUI, set the filter to a group that has HPE Aruba Networking APs running AOS-10.
- Under , click .
- Click the
Config icon. - In the table, hover over the required AirGroup service, and click the edit
icon. - To configure group-specific AirGroup settings, move the slider to the right.
- To enable the AirGroup service, select .
- To allow the service on the required VLANs Virtual Local Area Network. In computer networking, a single Layer 2 network may be partitioned to create multiple distinct broadcast domains, which are mutually isolated so that packets can only pass between them through one or more routers; such a domain is referred to as a Virtual Local Area Network, Virtual LAN, or VLAN., select from the drop-down list.
Allowing an AirGroup service on VLANs is optional. If configured, the AirGroup service is available only on the specified VLANs. The AirGroup service will not be available on unspecified VLANs.
- Specify the VLANs on which the service must be allowed in .
- Specify a service description in the field.
- To allow the service on the required roles, select from the drop-down list.
Allowing an AirGroup service on client roles is optional. If configured, the AirGroup service is only available for the specified client roles. The AirGroup service will not be available for unspecified client roles.
- To specify the roles for which the service must be allowed, click the plus
icon. - In the table, select the required client roles and click .
