Disallowing an AirGroup Service on a VLAN at a Group Level

Ensure that the following AirGroup pre-requisite(s) is(are) met:

  • An AOS-10 group should be available.

To disallow an AirGroup service on a VLAN Virtual Local Area Network. In computer networking, a single Layer 2 network may be partitioned to create multiple distinct broadcast domains, which are mutually isolated so that packets can only pass between them through one or more routers; such a domain is referred to as a Virtual Local Area Network, Virtual LAN, or VLAN. at a group level, complete the following procedure:

  1. In the WebUI, set the filter to a group that has HPE Aruba Networking APs running AOS-10.
  2. Under Manage, click Applications > AirGroup.
  3. Click the Config icon.
  4. In the Services table, hover over the required AirGroup service, and click .
  5. To disallow the service on the required VLANs, select Disallow service from the on these VLANs drop-down list.

    Disallowing an AirGroup service on VLANs is optional. If configured, the AirGroup service is unavailable on the specified VLANs.

  6. Specify the VLANs on which the service must be disallowed in VLANs.
  7. Click Save.
