AirGroup List View

AirGroup allows monitoring of services, servers, clients, and suppressed services in the List page.

Monitoring AirGroup is applicable only for HPE Aruba Networking APs that run AOS-10, and is not supported for IAPs (standalone APs) running AOS-8 managed in Classic Central.

Time Filter

The time filter allows you to set a time range to display the corresponding data on the graph. You can set the filter to any of the following time ranges:

  • 3 Hours—The graph displays the details for the past three hours.
  • 1 Day—The graph displays the details for the current day.
  • 1 Week—The graph displays the details for the current week.
  • 1 Month—The graph displays the details for the current month.
  • 3 Months—The graph displays the details for the past three months.

Summary Bar

The banner in the header pane shows the following details:

  • Services—Displays the total number of services allowed in AirGroup.
  • Servers—Displays the total number of servers in the service.
  • Clients—Displays the total number of clients in the service.
  • Suppressed Services—Displays the total number of services suppressed in AirGroup.

The Services table is displayed by default. Click Servers or Clients to view the corresponding details in the table. Click Suppressed Services to view a list of suppressed services.

The following functions are available in the table:

  • Click to refresh the data in the table.
  • Click to select more columns or reset the table view to the default columns.

Column

Description

Name

Name of the AirGroup service.

Server Count

The number of servers for a given service.

VLANs Virtual Local Area Network. In computer networking, a single Layer 2 network may be partitioned to create multiple distinct broadcast domains, which are mutually isolated so that packets can only pass between them through one or more routers; such a domain is referred to as a Virtual Local Area Network, Virtual LAN, or VLAN.

The list of available VLANs of the service.

Roles

The list of all the roles the service belongs to.

The following table lists the columns in the Servers table:

Name

Name of the AirGroup server.

MAC Media Access Control. A MAC address is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on a network.  Address

MAC address of the AirGroup server.

Services

Services running on the AirGroup server.

Connection Type

Indicates if the connection type of the server is wired or wireless.

Connected To

MAC address of the device the AirGroup server connected to.

IP Address

IP address of the AirGroup server.

VLAN

VLAN of the AirGroup server.

Role

Role of the AirGroup server.

User Name

The username of the device or server.

Device Visibility Type

Indicates if the server is a personal or public device.

Status

Connection status of the AirGroup server.

Link

Link of the AirGroup server.

Usage

Data usage of the AirGroup server.

Role

Role assigned to the AirGroup client.

MAC address of the device the AirGroup server connected to.

Status

Connection status of the AirGroup client.

Link

Link of the AirGroup client.

OS

Operating System running on the AirGroup client.

Band Band refers to a specified range of frequencies of electromagnetic radiation.

Band used by the AirGroup client.

Channel

Channel used by the AirGroup client.

Connection Type

Indicates if the connection type of the server is wired or wireless.

User Name

The username of the device or server.

Capabilities

Capabilities of the AirGroup client.

Client Health

Health status of the AirGroup client.
