AirGroup Summary View

AirGroup allows monitoring of services, servers, clients, and suppressed services in the Summary page. The Summary view displays doughnut graphs for the total number of services present in the selected group and total number of clients and servers present in the service.

Monitoring AirGroup is applicable only for HPE Aruba Networking APs that run AOS-10, and is not supported for IAPs (standalone APs) running AOS-8 managed in Classic Central.

For more information about monitoring AirGroup data in the Summary view, see Monitoring AirGroup in the Summary View.

Summary View

To monitor AirGroup in the Summary view, complete the following steps:

  1. In the WebUI, set the filter to a group that has HPE Aruba Networking APs running AOS-10.
  2. Under Manage, click Applications > AirGroup.
  3. Click Summary.

The graphs display information for Services, Clients, and Servers. You can filter the data for Clients and Servers in the graph By OS, By Role, or By VLAN Virtual Local Area Network. In computer networking, a single Layer 2 network may be partitioned to create multiple distinct broadcast domains, which are mutually isolated so that packets can only pass between them through one or more routers; such a domain is referred to as a Virtual Local Area Network, Virtual LAN, or VLAN..

You can click the enlarge icon to view the graph zoomed in.
