Configuring Manual EoGRE Tunnel to Third-Party Devices

Ethernet Ethernet is a network protocol for data transmission over LAN. over GRE Generic Routing Encapsulation. GRE is an IP encapsulation protocol that is used to transport packets over a network. (EoGRE) is a new aggregation solution for aggregating Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is a technology that allows electronic devices to connect to a WLAN network, mainly using the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio bands. Wi-Fi can apply to products that use any 802.11 standard. traffic from hotspots Hotspot refers to a WLAN node that provides Internet connection and virtual private network (VPN) access from a given location. A business traveler, for example, with a laptop equipped for Wi-Fi can look up a local hotspot, contact it, and get connected through its network to reach the Internet.. This solution enables customer premises equipment (CPE Customer Premises Equipment. It refers to any terminal or equipment located at the customer premises.) devices to bridge the Ethernet traffic coming from an end host, and encapsulate the traffic in Ethernet packets over an IP GRE tunnel. When the IP GRE tunnels are terminated on a service provider broadband network gateway, the end host’s traffic is terminated and subscriber sessions are initiated for the end host.
