Configure Data Center VPNCs
Microbranch AP groups can be mapped to VPNC hub groups through Data Center (DC) preferences. Users can select VPNC clusters as Data Center (DC) preferences instead of choosing individual VPNCs in a Data Center. This eliminates the need for multiple Microbranch groups within the same VPNC (for load balancing purposes).
On selecting the cluster as the DC preference, the Overlay Route Orchestrator (ORO) distributes the Microbranch sites to the available VPNCs in the cluster. A round-robin distribution method is used by ORO to distribute Microbranch sites to VPNC groups. Microbranch and VPNCs use the Overlay Agent Protocol (OAP) to communicate with ORO service in Classic Central. The Overlay Tunnel Orchestrator (OTO) of Classic Central orchestrates tunnels between Microbranch APs and VPNC clusters. Microbranch AP is terminated on VPNC cluster.
Supported Deployments with VPNC
The following VPNC deployments are supported by Classic Central:

AOS 8 VPNC group with Gateways running AOS 10.4 or later versions, that terminate IAP-VPN Virtual Private Network. VPN enables secure access to a corporate network when located remotely. It enables a computer to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if it were directly connected to the private network, while benefiting from the functionality, security, and management policies of the private network. This is done by establishing a virtual point-to-point connection through the use of dedicated connections, encryption, or a combination of the two. APs running AOS 8.10 or later versions.

AOS 10 VPNC group with non-clustered VPNCs running AOS 10.4 or later versions, that terminate IAP-VPN APs running AOS 8.10 or later versions.

AOS 10 VPNC group with clustered gateways running AOS 10.3.1.3 or 10.4 and later versions, that terminate Microbranch APs running AOS 10.4.

AOS 10 VPNC group with non-clustered VPNCs running AOS 10.5 or later versions, that terminate Microbranch APs running AOS 10.4 or later versions.
