Connecting Virtual Gateway to HPE Aruba Networking Central
To connect the Virtual Gateway to HPE Aruba Networking Central, use one of the following provisioning methods:
Zero Touch Provisioning
The Virtual Gateway connects to HPE Aruba Networking Central using Zero touch provisioning when there is a DHCP Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol. A network protocol that enables a server to automatically assign an IP address to an IP-enabled device from a defined range of numbers configured for a given network. server in the network. The workflow is as follows:
- The Virtual Gateway receives an IP address from the DHCP, triggers the EST enrollment, and connects to HPE Aruba Networking Central.

One Touch Provisioning
To connect the Virtual Gateway to HPE Aruba Networking Central using One touch provisioning, complete the following steps:
Ensure that there is no DHCP server in the network.
- Boot the Virtual Gateway VM Virtual Machine. A VM is an emulation of a computer system. VMs are based on computer architectures and provide functionality of a physical computer. with the HPE Aruba Networking Central-generated ISO image. The VMware console displays the VM as a Virtual Gateway during the initial boot.
- Select from the initial provisioning wizard and provide the static IP address in the initial network configuration.
- The Virtual Gateway triggers the EST enrollment and connects to HPE Aruba Networking Central.
