Retiring an Offline AP
HPE Aruba Networking Central On-Premises allows you to retire an offline access point (AP) from the device inventory.
To retire an offline AP, complete the following steps:
- In the WebUI, set the filter to one of the options under , , or . For all devices, set the filter to .
Ensure that the filter selected contains at least one active AP.
The dashboard context for the selected filter is displayed.
- Under , click > .
A list of APs is displayed in the view.
- In the table, hover over the offline AP that you want to retire from the device inventory.
- Click the
delete icon. - In the Delete Devices dialog box, click the Delete these devices from the Inventory check box.
- Click to retire the APs from the device inventory and to delete the APs from the AP monitoring.
