Adding Devices Using MAC Address, Serial Number, and Part Number

You can add devices to the inventory by entering the MAC Media Access Control. A MAC address is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on a network.  address, serial number, and part number of the devices on the HPE GreenLake account home page.

To add devices using the aforementioned options, complete the following steps:

1. In the HPE GreenLake account home page, click Devices > Inventory.

   The Inventory page is displayed.

2. Click Add Devices.

   The Add Devices page is displayed.

3. Under Device Type, select Networking Devices.

4. Under Ownership Type, select the Serial Number, MAC, Part Number radio button.
5. Enter the serial number, MAC address, and part number of the device.
6. Click Enter.
7. Click Next.
8. (Optional) In the next window, enter the tag details and click Next.
9. Click Finish.

   The device is added to the inventory.

   You can add up to 32 devices.
