Deleting a Device
To delete a device from the inventory, you must remove the device subscriptions first and then delete the device.
Ensure that the Devices > Auto-Subscribe option is disabled before removing device subscriptions. This prevents the devices from being licensed again automatically.
To delete a device from the inventory, complete the following steps:
- In the HPE GreenLake account home page, click > Inventory.
The Device Inventory page is displayed.
The Device Inventory page displays the devices that have been assigned, subscribed, as well as the devices that require subscriptions.

Select the check box for the device that you want to delete.

From the Actions drop-down list, select Detach Subscription.
The Detach Subscription pop-up window is displayed.
- Click Detach Subscription and then click Close in the pop-up window.
The Device Inventory page now displays the detached devices in the inventory.
Require Subscriptions card.
- Select the check box for the detached device from the Device Inventory page.

From the Actions drop-down list, select Delete.
The device is removed from the inventory.
