Enabling Smart Card Authentication
To configure smart card authentication, complete the following steps:
- In the HPE GreenLake account home page, click .
The Manage Account page is displayed.

Click the Authentication card.
The Authentication tab is displayed by default.

Click Edit.
The Authentication Method drop-down list is displayed.
- Select either RADIUS Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service is a networking protocol that provides centralized authentication, authorization, and accounting management for users who connect and use a network service or RadSec RadSec is an authentication and authorization protocol for transporting RADIUS datagrams over TCP and TLS. from the drop-down list.

If RADIUS or RadSec are not configured, click Set Up RADIUS or Add RadSec Server at the bottom of the page.

Turn on the Enable Smart Card Authentication for HPE GreenLake toggle switch.

Click Save Changes.
The Change Authentication Method? confirmation box is displayed.

Click Confirm Change.
The authentication method is successfully changed to Smart Card method. The user can access HPE Aruba Networking Central On-Premises using smart card.
