AP Health Insights
The insight provides the following information:
-
2.4GHz Radio Problems—Generates insights when 2.4 GHz radios on some AP models consider the channel to be fully occupied and do not transmit or receive any data. In such instances, the radio will remain stuck, unable to transmit or receive. When such a radio fails, it creates a gap in coverage for the user and disrupts client sessions.
-
Country Code Mismatch—Generates insights when the AP is configured with incorrect country code. An AP is considered to be in a misconfigured state if the country code derived from Google Latitude or Longitude data does not match the country code specified by the user. Identifying APs with incorrect country codes provides the following benefits:
-
Ensures compliance with the rules and regulations of the country where the device is located, as defined by relevant standards.
-
Potentially unlocking additional bandwidth or higher transmit power in certain regions, improving overall network performance.
-

Radio Auto Recovery—The toggle button is enabled by default for radio auto recovery. Disabling the button prevents the auto recovery mechanism from automatically resetting the radio whenever it is identified in a stuck state.
Note:The toggle button is controlled through RBAC permissions. Only users with Read Write permissions will be able to enable or disable the radio auto recovery.
For more information on roles and permission, refer to Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and HPE GreenLake Cloud User Guide.
