Enabling 6 GHz Radio with Optimal Bandwidth to Improve WLAN Performance
The WLAN performance insight uses the transmission rates for various network and client configurations to predict the data transmission rate when 6GHz (Wi-Fi 6E) is enabled on the network. 6 GHz is supported on 600 Series access points and above models. The 6 GHz band insight analyzes each customer's deployment and client behavior to determine whether it is desirable to enable the 6GHz band for APs, quantifying the advantages to customers in the deployment.
To access the WLAN performance insight, complete the following steps:

Access the Insights page. For more information, see Accessing Insights Page.

Click the Enable 6GHz Radio with Optimal Bandwidth to Improve WLAN Performance tab.

You can view the following metrics:

Actions card—The tile displays the required configuration steps to improve WLAN throughput. In the Actions card, you can view the following information:

Enable 6 GHz Radios on WLANs—Allows you to review the listed Scope and Scope Type and identify the WLAN where 6 Ghz must be enabled.
Note: Ensure WPA3 is enabled on the WLANs -
Update Bandwidth Settings on Radio Profile—Allows you to verify the Radio Profile associated with the scope, check the Current band, review the Current Bandwidth Settings, and apply the recommended bandwidth settings.
Click Download CSV to export the details for offline review.

Average Throughput Improvement—The graph displays the current and projected bidirectional throughput rates in the y-axis and the WLANs in the x-axis. The percentage at the top is the throughput transmission gain that you can achieve by enabling 6GHz. You can also hover over the graph to view the current and projected transmission rates for the AP groups.

Sites—Use the table to review the impacted sites. You can view the site name, number of devices, and number of clients impacted. Click on the site name to drill down into site-level details and validation.
