Improve RF Resiliency by Swapping APs Between Switches in the Stack
This insight recommends changes to AP-Stacked Switch topology to improve the resiliency in Wi-Fi coverage when switches are down. In AP-Stacked Switch topology, if one of the member switches is down, all the neighboring APs connected to that particular switch cannot provide Wi-Fi coverage, implying a bad topology in the network. In such an event of Stacked Switch failures, Wi-Fi coverage can be improved by distributing the APs across the switches in the stack and by minimizing the number of neighboring APs connected to the same member switch. This insight recommends to swap the access points between the two members of stacked switches, provides the port number on each switch which needs to be swapped.
