Power Save Recommendation for Access Points

Power Save Recommendation for Access Points or Green Wi-Fi is a feature that helps save energy consumption from common equipment in various areas like airports, offices, universities, hotels and so on. Based on the feeds, the Green Wi-Fi feature dynamically enables, disables, or reduces functionality of an allocated AP to reduce the consumption of energy.

In practice, at sites with high access point density to meet peak network demand, a weekly data analyzer detects idle AP subsets during periods of low client activity. It strategically activates power-saving mode, in accordance with Green Wi-Fi principles, to regulate energy usage based on demand patterns, creating a sustainable and efficient wireless communication ecosystem.
