Viewing SaaS WAN Information in the Application Dashboard

The Application Dashboard provides enhanced visibility into WAN performance for SaaS applications, enabling administrators to understand how network conditions impact application experience at both site and device scope.

To access SaaS WAN application data in HPE Aruba Networking Central, complete the following steps:

  1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu having at least one application.

    Alternatively, you can click the expand icon on the Sites menu to search for a site from the list.

  2. Click on the Applications planet.

    The list of applications is displayed. You can filter SaaS applications using the funnel filter or locating SaaS applications directly using the search bar.

  3. Select a SaaS application from the list.

  4. Open the Site Context Performance Card.

    Expand the card to view available tabs.

  5. Select the WAN tab.

The WAN tab provides a consolidated view of network performance affecting SaaS traffic. QoE is color-coded as follows:

  • Good (Green): QoE ≥ 70

  • Fair (Yellow): QoE 30–69

  • Poor (Red): QoE < 30

The WAN tab also includes time-series charts for key WAN health indicators, such as packet loss, latency, jitter, and MOS.

Note: The WAN tab is displayed only when SaaS WAN monitoring data is available. If no data exists, the tab is automatically hidden.
