Viewing Application Dashboard
The Applications dashboard displays insights about the selected application accessed by both wired and wireless users at a site.
You can access the Application dashboard for either the Site context, or Client context.
The sorting mechanism in both Site and Client contexts rely on a more intelligent, multi‑layered algorithm that better surfaces problematic applications. The enhanced default sorting now prioritizes four key columns in the following order:
-
application health, ascending from worst to best
-
UXI status, ascending
-
usage, descending
-
application name, alphabetical
This approach ensures that applications with the poorest user experience or greatest potential impact automatically rise to the top, enabling faster and more effective troubleshooting.
Users can also take advantage of the custom sorting capability by clicking any column header to redefine the primary sort criterion. Even when custom sorting is applied, the system continues to use the same priority sequence: health, UXI, usage, name, to break ties among applications that share the same value in the selected column. This results in sorting behavior that remains predictable, consistent, and aligned with the platform’s goal of highlighting poor-performing applications.
The Applications dashboard also displays application health metrics for websites, which are now treated the same as regular applications. Websites receive identical scoring and telemetry analysis, including experience scores, QoE metrics, health trends, and experience counts. This unified approach provides end-to-end visibility and ensures a consistent troubleshooting experience across both applications and websites.
The dashboard also allows users to filter by application or website. If additional details are needed, clicking a website or application row displays the corresponding latency information on the left side panel.

You can view the following features and cards on the Application dashboard:
-
Application Context—Displays the name of the application. In the description, it shows the site where the application is accessed.
The large circle in the center represents the application context and displays the name of the application. The smaller circles around it represent Site, Network, Clients, Security, and Alerts associated with the selected application.
When you navigate to the Application dashboard page from the client context, the site and client name is displayed in the application description.
Note:The Client circle is not displayed if you navigate to the Application dashboard page from the Client context.

Site—Displays name of the site. For more information, see Viewing Site Information in the Application Dashboard.
-
Network—Displays the count of network devices assigned to the site handling the application traffic. For more information, see Viewing Network Information in the Application Dashboard.
-
Client—Displays the count of clients using the selected application. For more information, see Viewing Client Information in the Application Dashboard.
-
Time Period—The time period drop-down list provides the following options: 3 Hours, 1 Day, 7 Days, and 30 Days. The data displayed in the various cards updates based on the selected time period.
Note:The time period drop-down list displays different options based on the smaller circle selected within the application, such as Network, Clients, Security, or Alerts.
-
Health Card—Is a graphical representation of the health and UXI for the selected applications. For more information, see Health Card.
