Viewing Application Visibility in List View

This topic describes the List view for Application Visibility. For Summary view, see Viewing Application Visibility in Summary View.

To navigate to the List view, complete the following steps:

  1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu having at least one application.

Alternatively, you can click the expand icon on the Sites menu to search for a site from the list.

The site dashboard is displayed with the network and connectivity information for the site.

  2. Click on the Applications planet.

The Application Visibility table displays a list of all active and inactive applications from the last three hours by default. It can also be adjusted to 1 day or 7 days.

  3. Optionally, select the quick filter tabs to filter your applications list:

    • Type:

      • Applications—Displays the list of all applications. Enabled, by default.

      • Websites—Displays the list of all websites.

Enabling both—Applications and Websites, lists all applications and websites.

    • Application State:

      • Active—Displays the list of applications or websites accessed within the last 3 hours. Enabled by default.

      • Inactive—Displays the list of all inactive applications or websites that were accessed based on the time selected in the temporal view. Enabled by default.

Changing the time window in the list view will only refresh the data shown there, while the Application, Client, and Network panels will continue to display application counts from the last three hours.
