Viewing Clients Accessing Applications

You can view the details of the clients accessing each application by clicking the application name. Then, the Client information can be accessed from the Client planet in the specified application.

To view client information supported by the application, complete the following steps:

1. Navigate to the list view for Applications.
   

2. Click an application name in the list view.

3. Click on the Clients planet.

   The Clients Details table displays the details of the clients accessing the selected application. To view all the clients, scroll through the list.

   Table 1: Client Details Columns

   Column	Description
   Name	Displays the client's username or hostname or MAC address.
   Application Health	Displays insights on how the application is performing. The experience indicators are: Green—Application has good experience. Yellow—Application has fair experience. Red—Application has poor experience. Gray—Application experience is unknown. For information on how application experience is calculated, see How Application Health Is Calculated.
   UXI Status	Displays a color-coded bar denoting the user experience insights for the application. The experience indicators are: Green—Application has good experience. Yellow—Application has fair experience. Red—Application has poor experience. Gray—Application experience is unknown. Hover over the bar to see the percentage of good, fair, or poor experience for the application over the last 15 minutes.    Type	Displays the client type icon and client topology. The client type icons are: -The client is connected to the wireless network. -The client is connected to the wired network.
   MAC Address	Displays the MAC address of the client.
   IP Address	Displays the IP address of the client.
   Connected To	Displays the AP name, Switch name, or Gateway name. This is the first layer 2 hop for the client. If the device at the layer 2 hop does not have a name, the MAC address is displayed.
   VLAN	Displays the VLAN of the device to which the client is connected to.
   WLAN	Displays the WLAN of the device to which the client is connected to.
   Usage	Displays the data usage for the client for the selected application.
   Role	Displays the role assigned to the client.
   Last Used	Displays the date and time when the client last used the application.
   Permissions	Displays the client permissions to the application.
   Category	Displays the category assigned to the client.
   Function	Displays the function of the client.
   Vendor	Displays the client vendor.
   Model/OS	Displays the client’s Model/OS.

4. Click the client name to navigate to the client context.

You can search for clients using filters.

Searching by Name

You can filter the clients accessing an application by searching with the client's Name.

To search for applications using filters, complete the following steps:

1. Access the Filters pop-up by clicking the filter icon.

2. Select the necessary options under the filter criteria:

   • VLAN

   • Permission

   • Vendor

   • WLAN

   • Role

   • Function

   • Category

   • Model/OS

   • Last Used

3. To apply the filters, click Apply.

   The clients in the list view are filtered based on the selected criteria.

   Optionally, click Clear to clear the selection.
