Viewing Certificate Management Parameters

HPE Aruba Networking Central allows you to view the device certificate in the Certificate Management application.

Note:

To view the device certificate on the Certificate Management application, ensure that the Read permission is enabled for the specific user role.

To view the certificate management parameters, complete the following steps:

  1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, click the icon to open the Menu page.

  2. On the Certificate Management card, click Manage.

    The Certificate Management page is displayed containing the following parameter details.

Role

Privilege

Name

Name of the certificate.

Type

Type of certificate.

Format

Format of the certificate.

Days Until Expiration

The number of days remaining before the certificate expires.
Algorithm

The cryptographic algorithm used to generate the certificate's key pair.

The following algorithms with a minimum length of 2048 bits are supported:

  • RSA

  • DSA

  • ECC
Valid From The date and time from which the certificate is valid.
Valid To The date and time until which the certificate is valid.
Issued By The name of the CA that issued the certificate.
Issued To The name of the device or domain to which the certificate is issued.
Key Usage The intended purpose of the certificate's public key, such as TLS Web Server Authentication.
MD5 Checksum The MD5 hash value of the certificate, used to verify its integrity.
