Assigning a Site

You can assign a site to a device from the Device Inventory page in HPE Aruba Networking Central. For bridge device types, you can also move the device from one site to another.

To assign a site to a device, complete the following steps:

1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, click on the Device Inventory card.

   The Device Inventory page is displayed.

2. Perform one of the following steps:

   • Hover over the device to which you want to assign a site, and click the ellipsis icon. Select Assign.

   • Select the check box for the relevant device, and click Assign on the top-right.

   The Device Assignment side panel is displayed.

3. Under Device Function, select the appropriate device function for the device.

   For bridges, only Bridge option is available and is selected by default.

4. Select a site from the Sites drop-down list.

5. (Optional) To add a new site, click New Site from the Sites drop-down list.

6. Click Assign.

   The Device Inventory page displays the assigned site for the selected device.

You can also reassign a bridge from one site to another in the Device Assignment side panel.
