Creating a Site
To create a site, complete the following steps:

In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu.
Alternatively, you can click the expand
icon on the Sites menu to search for a site from the list.The site dashboard is displayed with the network and connectivity information for the site.

Click the configuration
icon.The configuration profiles for the selected site is displayed in Profile view.

In the left navigation pane, click Sites.
The Sites page displays a list of sites configured in a table.

Click Create Site.
The Create Site pop-up window is displayed.

Note:When you click Create Site for the first time, the browser requests permission to know your current location. To grant permission and load the mapbox with your current location, click Allow. If you click Block, the mapbox loads the default HPE Headquarters location with the following coordinates 30.095449, -95.442105.

In the Create Site pop-up window, enter the following details:

Name
Enter the name of site.
Custom Image
To add a custom image for your site, you can drag and drop the image file, or click to browse the image file on your system, and then click Open.
Supported image formats: JPEG (.jpeg, .jpg), WebP (.webp), and PNG (.png).
Maximum size: 10 MB
Civic Address
Enter the address of the site. To enter the address, perform one of the following:

To manually populate the address details, complete the following:

Address— Enter the address of the site. The search bar displays dynamic results as soon as you start typing. Select an address from the dynamic results. Once selected, the fields are auto-populated.
If your address does not appear in the dynamic results, manually enter the City, State/Province, Country, and Postal Code data.

City—Enter the city in which the site is located.

Country—Select the country in which the site is located

State/Province—Select the state or province in which the site is located.

Postal Code—Enter the postal code of the site.

In the mapbox window, drag and drop the pin in the map to auto-populate the address. Below is a list of the full set of controls you can use in your maps:

Zoom—The zoom control displays

icons for changing the zoom level of the map. To return to the default zoom levels, click

Map Type—The map type control allows you to toggle between map types (Satellite, Street, and 3D). By default, the Street view is displayed.

Time Zone
The time zone is dynamically populated based on the GPS coordinates. You can also manually select the time zone from the drop-down list.
Latitude
Displays the latitudinal value of the site. This field is auto-populated with the latitude value based on the pin adjusted in the map or the entered Postal Code. You can also manually enter the latitude value.
Longitude
Displays the longitudinal value of the site. This field is auto-populated with the longitude value based on the pin adjusted in the map or the entered Postal Code. You can also manually enter the longitude value.

Click Save.
The new site is added to the Sites table.
