Removing a Site from a Site Collection

You can remove a site from the site collection to reset the configurations to global.

To remove a site from a site collection, complete the following steps :

1. To view the sites, complete one of the following steps:

   • To access the sites from the Site Collections page:

     1. Navigate to the Site Collections page.

        See Viewing a Site Collection.

     2. Click the site collection name.

   • To access the sites from the Sites page:

     1. Navigate to the Sites page.

        See Viewing Sites.

   A list of sites is displayed in a table.

2. To remove site from collection, complete one of the following steps:

   • To remove a site collection, complete the following steps:

     1. Hover over the site you want to remove and click the ellipsis icon.

     2. Click Remove from Site Collection.

        A Remove Site confirmation pop-up window is displayed.

     3. Click Remove.

   • To remove multiple sites, complete the following steps:

     1. Click the check box next to the site name to select the sites.

     2. Click the Actions drop-down menu and then select Remove from Site Collection.

        A Remove Site confirmation pop-up window is displayed.

     3. Click Remove.
