Editing a Site Collection

To edit a site collection, complete the following steps :

1. Navigate to the Site Collections page.

   See Viewing a Site Collection.

2. Hover over the site collection you want to rename and click the ellipsis icon.

3. Select Edit Site Collection.

   The Edit Site Collection panel is displayed on the right.

4. In the Name field, enter the modified name of the site collection.

   Ensure that the name text does not exceed 128 characters.

5. (Optional) In the Description field, enter a modified description for the site collection.

   Ensure that the description text does not exceed 2048 characters.

6. In the Sites drop-down menu, select or deselect sites to add or remove them, respectively, from the site collection.

7. Click Save.
