Site Collection

Site collection is an aggregation of multiple sites grouped according to administrator preference. If a device is assigned to a Site scope and that Site is part of a site collection, then that device automatically becomes part of that site collection. This is an optional construct.

The Site Collections menu in the left navigation displays the total number of site collections available. When no site collections are available, the Site Collections menu displays 0 collection in the left navigation. Clicking Site Collections displays a list of available site collections. Clicking a site collection from the list view on the right displays a list of sites associated with that site collection.
