Deleting an Alias

To delete an alias, complete the following steps:

Note:

  • Before deleting an alias, remove references to the alias from policy rules.

  • You cannot delete default aliases.

  1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu.

    Alternatively, you can click the expand icon on the Sites menu to search for a site from the list.

    The site dashboard is displayed with the network and connectivity information for the site.

  2. Click the configurationicon.

    The Network Overview page is displayed.

  3. Click Library.

  4. Click the Named Objects tab on the right.

  5. Under Aliases tile, click Manage Aliases.

    The Aliases table is displayed with a list of aliases.

  6. In the Aliases table, hover over an alias that you want to delete, and click the delete icon.

  7. In the Network Alias pop-up window, click Delete.

    The alias is deleted from the Aliases table.
