Inventory Report Format

The Inventory report supports the following KPIs:

• Vendor Summary

• Interfaces Summary

• Model Summary

• Firmware Version Summary

• Model & Firmware Summary

• Newly Added Devices

• Device List

• Device List

• Access Points Port List

Based on the KPIs and the format selected while creating a report, the data in the Inventory report are available in the views listed below.

• List view—Displays the selected KPI in list format.

• Donut view—Displays the selected KPI in donut-chart format.

  Note:

  Donut chart view shows only the top five Model Summary, Firmware Version Summary, and Model & firmware Summary KPIs. The chart displays top four parameters and remaining parameters will be displayed in Others if more than five parameters are listed.

• Multi view—Displays the selected KPI in both list and donut-chart view.

The report displays up to 2000 entries for each KPI. The following topic describes the parameters present in each KPI of Inventory report.

Report Header

The report header contains the following parameters:

Parameter	Description
Name of the report	Displays the name of the report.
Report Type	Displays the type of the report.
Scope	Displays the context in which the report is generated. For example, at a global-level, site-level, or multiple-site-level.
Report Period	Displays the time span for which the report is generated.
Generated On	Displays the date and time when the report is completed.

Vendor Summary

The vendor summary is available in list view and donut-chart view options. The data displayed in this report is point-in-time data based on when the report was generated.

List View

The following table describes parameters in list view of the Vendor Summary KPI for all devices:

Table 2: Vendor Summary

Parameter	Description
Name of the KPI	Displays the name of the KPI.
Vendor	Displays the name of the vendor of the device.
Device Count	Displays the number of devices from a particular vendor.
Percentage	Displays the percentage of devices present for each vendor.

Donut-Chart View

The Vendor Summary donut-chart contains the total number of devices in the center. Color-coded arcs are used to display the vendors.

Interfaces Summary

The Interfaces Summary KPI is available in list view and donut-chart view options. The data displayed in this report is point-in-time data based on when the report was generated.

List View

The following table describes parameters in list view of the  Interface Summary KPI for each device type:

Parameter	Description
Name of the KPI	Displays the name of the KPI.
Device interfaces	Displays the connected interface of the speed and duplex of the device.
Count	Displays the number of connected interfaces based on the report context.
Percentage	Displays the percentage of devices present in each interface.

Donut-Chart View

The Interfaces Summary donut-chart contains the total number of interfaces in the center. Color-coded arcs are used to display the interface types.

Model Summary

The Model Summary KPI is available in list view and donut-chart view options. The data displayed in this report is point-in-time data based on when the report was generated.

List View

The following table describes parameters in list view of the  Model Summary KPI for each device type:

Firmware Version Summary

The Firmware Version Summary KPI is available in list view and donut-chart view options. The data displayed in this report is point-in-time data based on when the report was generated.

List View

Firmware Version	Displays the firmware version of the device.
Device Count	Displays the number of devices in a particular firmware version.

Donut-Chart View

The Firmware Version Summary donut-chart contains the total number of firmware versions in the center. Color-coded arcs are used to display different firmware versions. The top four unique versions are displayed in different colored arcs, and the remaining firmware versions are displayed as Others in the arc.

Model & Firmware Summary

The Model & Firmware Summary KPI is available in list view and donut-chart view options. The data displayed in this report is point-in-time data based on when the report was generated.

List View

The following table describes parameters in the list view of the Model & Firmware Summary KPI for each device type:

Parameter	Description
Name of the KPI	Displays the name of the KPI.
Model & Firmware Version	Displays the model number and firmware version of the device.
Device Count	Displays the number of devices for a particular model number in a particular firmware version.
Percentage	Displays the percentage of devices present in each model number in a particular firmware version.

Donut-Chart View

The Model & Firmware Summary donut-chart contains the total number of devices in the center. Color-coded arcs are used to display different model numbers in a particular firmware version. The top four unique versions are displayed in different colored arcs, and the remaining model numbers and firmware versions are displayed as Others in the arc.

Newly Added Devices

List View

The following table describes parameters in the list view of the Newly Added Devices KPI for each device type:

Name	Displays the name of the device.
Serial	Displays the serial number of the device.
Model	Displays the model number of the device.
Firmware Version	Displays the firmware version of the device.
IP Address	Displays the IP address of the device.
MAC Address	Displays the MAC address of the device.
Site	Displays the site name.
Status	Displays the status of the device when the report was generated.
Added On	Displays the date and time when the device was added.
Part Number	Displays the device part number.
Role	Displays the device role.

Device List

The data displayed in this report is point-in-time data based on when the report was generated.

List View

The following table describes parameters in the list view of the Device List KPI for each device type:

Name	Displays the name of the device.
Serial	Displays the serial number of the device.
Model	Displays the model number of the device.
Firmware Version	Displays the firmware version of the device.
IP Address	Displays the IP address of the device.
MAC Address	Displays the MAC address of the device.
Site	Displays the site name.
Status	Displays the status of the device when the report was generated.
Last Seen	Displays the date and time when the device was last online. Note: This information is displayed only if the device is offline.
Part Number	Displays the device part number.
Role	Displays the device role.

Device Inventory List

The data displayed in this report is point-in-time data based on when the report was generated. Data in the report can be categorized by device type: Access Points, Gateways, or Switches.

List View

The following table describes parameters in the list view of the Device List KPI for each device type:

Name	Displays the name of the device.
Serial	Displays the serial number of the device.
IP Address	Displays the IP address of the device.
MAC Address	Displays the MAC address of the device.
Site	Displays the site name.
Status	Displays the status of the device when the report was generated.
Role	Displays the device role.
Deployment Mode	Displays whether the device is wired or wireless.
Subscription	Displays the device subscriptions.
Stack ID	If the device is in a stack, displays the stack ID.

Access Points Port List

The data displayed in this report is point-in-time data based on when the report was generated.

List View

The following table describes parameters in the list view of the Access Points Port KPI for each device type:

Port	Displays the port number of the device.
Serial	Displays the serial number of the device.
Site	Displays the site name.

Speed	Displays the port speed.
Duplex	Displays the duplex mode (Auto, Half, or Full).
Status	Displays the status of the device when the report was generated.
