Report Categories and Format

HPE Aruba Networking Central allows users to create reports for the following categories:

• Clients—Client Session, and Client Inventory.

• Applications—Application Analytics.

• Infrastructure—Capacity Planning, Device Uptime, Inventory, Subscriptions, Resource Utilization, and Visitor.

• Network—Network Usage and RF Health.

• Security—WIDS format, and Security Compliance report.

Report Format

Based on the KPIs and the format selected while creating a report, the data in the reports are available in the following views:

• List view—Displays the selected KPI in list format.

• Donut view—Displays the selected KPI in donut-chart format.

• Bar view—Displays the selected KPI in bar-chart format.

• Trend-chart view—Displays the selected KPI in trend-chart format.

• Multiview—Displays the selected KPI in multiple formats.

Time sampling in a Report

Depending on the KPI, reports are generated using point-in-time data (snapshot) or using historical data collected for the report duration specified.

The following KPIs display point-in-time data from the time the report was generated:
