Deleting a Role
Before deleting a role, ensure that you remove all the policy references associated with the role. For more information, see Deleting a Policy.
When an SSID is created in HPE Aruba Networking Central, a role with the name of the SSID is automatically created with system policy references to this role. This role cannot be deleted even if the SSID is deleted.
To delete a role, complete the following steps:

In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu.
Alternatively, you can click the expand
icon on the Sites menu to search for a site from the list.The site dashboard is displayed with the network and connectivity information for the site.

Click the configuration
icon.The Network Overview page is displayed.

Click Library.

Click the Roles & Policies tab on the right.

Under Roles tile, click Manage.
The Roles table is displayed with a list of roles.

Hover over the role you want to delete and click the delete
icon.The Delete Role pop-up window is displayed.
Note:You cannot delete a default role with the description of a system role default. Note that a default role is a mandatory role that is automatically created for every wireless profile in HPE Aruba Networking Central.

Click Delete.
The role is removed from the Roles table.
