Application Services in Summary View
The Application Services dashboard in Summary view highlights the top five services based on server count over the past seven days, enabling users to quickly identify the most frequently used services for improved monitoring and efficient resource management.
The Application Service Discovery card presents bar charts of application services with the highest server counts over the past seven days, arranged in ascending order. Clicking on a service redirects you to the Application dashboard and displays the selected service as a Sun.

Click the
Expand icon to view the Application Service Discovery card in an expanded view. The expanded view provides the following information:

Description |

Name |
Displays the name of the service. Clicking on a service redirects you to the Application dashboard and displays the service as a Sun. For more information, see Viewing the Applications Dashboard with Service as a Sun. |

Protocols |
Displays the type of protocol advertising the service. |

Servers |
Displays the number of servers advertising the service. Clicking on the server count redirects you to the Application dashboard, displaying the Clients planet and the selected service as a Sun. For more information, see Viewing Client Information with Service as a Sun. |

Infra Devices |
Displays the number of unique infrastructure devices from which the service has been learned in the last three hours. Clicking on the infra devices count redirects you to the Application dashboard, displaying the Network planet and the selected service as a Sun. Visibility Domain |
Displays the type of server visibility to a device or a client. The supported types of server visibility are:

Category |
Displays the application category. The various categories supported are as follows:

Role |
Displays the roles assigned to a server based on the end user accessing or discovering the service. |

VLAN |
Displays the VLAN on which servers are learned. |

Search Bar
In the Application Service Discovery page, you can enter keywords in the search bar to find a specific application from the Application Service Discovery table.
The search is supported only for the application Name column.
Filters
In the Application Service Discovery page, click the filter
icon to view the Filters pop-up window that allows you to filter applications based on Category, Protocols, Device Type, Visibility Domain, User Role, and VLAN.
To remove the filters from the Filters pop-up window, click Clear and then click Apply. Additionally, you can click Clear Filters in the Application Service Discovery page to remove the filters.

Table Utilities
You can sort, customize the column visibility, and adjust the width of the columns displayed in the table, as required.

To sort a column either in ascending or descending, complete the following steps:

Click the column name that you wish to sort.

Perform either of the following:

To sort in ascending order, click the up arrow
icon. -
To sort in descending order, click the down arrow
icon.

To adjust the width of the columns, complete the following steps:

Hover over the left or right edge of the column that you want to adjust.
You can identify the edge of the column when the mouse pointer changes to the adjust
shape. -
Click and drag the edge to adjust the width of the column.

To customize columns, reset column sizes, and export table data, complete the following steps:

Click the
Table Menu icon.The Actions menu is displayed.

Click Customize Columns.
The Customize Columns pop-up window is displayed.

Complete either or both of the following steps as required:

Select the column names to enable or disable the visibility of that column in the table.

Click and hold the action
icon next to the column you wish to move, and drag it to a new position. -
Click Apply.

Click Reset to Defaults to clear the column visibility settings.

Click Reset Column Sizes to reset the column widths.

Click Export to export the Application table data.
