Tunnel Profiles

Tunnel profiles define the IPsec parameters used to establish secure connections between branch gateways and cloud endpoints.

To create a tunnel profile, complete the following steps:

  1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, click the configuration icon.

    The Configuration Overview page is displayed.

  2. In the left navigation menu, select Global.

  3. Click the Services tab.

    The Services Management page is displayed.

  4. In the Tunnel Definitions card, click Manage.

    The Cloud Connect Tunnel Definitions table is displayed.

  5. Click Create Profile.

    The Create Profile side panel is displayed.

  6. Configure the following Cloud Connect Tunnel profile parameters:

    • Profile Name—Enter a name for the Tunnel profile.

      Phase-1 (IKE)

    • Encryption Algorithm—Select the encryption algorithm use for IKE.

    • Hash Algorithm—Select the hash function used for integrity.

    • Authentication Type—Select the authentication method.

    • PRF Method—Select the pseudo-random function used for key generation.

    • Diffie-Hellmann Group—Select the DH group for key exchange.

    • Lifetime Value (seconds)—Specify the Phase 1 lifetime.

  7. Click Create.

    The Tunnel profile is created and displayed in the list view.
