Viewing Classification Details Card in Client Context

In the Client context, the Classification card displays the details of a client, such as category, function, vendor, model/OS, and so on.

To view the Classification details card, complete the following steps:

1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu.

   Alternatively, you can click the expand icon on the Sites menu to search for a site from the list.

   The site dashboard is displayed with the network and connectivity information for the site.

2. Click Clients.

   The Clients dashboard is displayed in the List view. See Viewing Clients in List View.

3. Click any client on the Unified Clients List and then click the Classification card.

   The Classification details card is displayed.

The data on the Classification Details card is drawn from the classification rules and tags associated with the client, as well as the user-agent enrichment feature of HPE Aruba Networking Central. For Smart Devices such as Android mobile phones, the model name is also displayed, along with the vendor and the operating system. The Classification Details card in the client context displays UEM attributes and their corresponding values, from extensions like Microsoft Intune, Ivanti Neurons, and VM Workspace ONE under Static Attributes. For more information on extension-specific tags and attributes, see Manage Tags.
