Networking Copilot CTKB Capabilities

Networking Copilot CTKB aggregates client capabilities based on historical telemetry collected across production clusters. It stores information such as:

  • Client device vendor

  • Model and year

  • Wireless support (e.g., 11ax, 11ac, 11n)

  • Band support (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz)

  • Security (WPA3, 11R)

  • Authentication latency

  • 6 GHz capability

This database enables Networking Copilot to automatically infer a device’s capabilities, eliminating the need for users to reference detailed hardware specifications.

With CTKB, users can ask Networking Copilot natural-language questions about a device’s compatibility (e.g., 11R, WPA3, Wi‑Fi 6E / 6 GHz) and receive data-backed answers that help diagnose roaming and authentication issues. For example, users can use prompts such as Does this client support 11R?, or Is this device compatible with Wi-Fi 6E?, which can be useful for troubleshooting roaming and authentication issues, since many failures come from device capability mismatches.
