Updating the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Extension
To update the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint extension, complete the following steps:

In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, click the menu
icon to open the Global menu.The Global menu is displayed with menu items represented as cards.

In the Extensions card, click Manage.
The Extensions page is displayed, along with the installed and available extensions under their respective tabs.

Under the Installed Extensions tab, click the installed Microsoft Defender for Endpoint card.
The Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Configuration side panel is displayed.

Edit the required details as follows:

Name—The name of the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint extension is grayed out and cannot be edited.

URL—Enter a valid URL. Ensure that the URL is in the following format:
<protocol>://<host>:<port>/<endpoint> where <endpoint> is services, collector, or event.

Client ID—Enter the client ID for the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint client profile.

Secret—Enter the password for the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint client profile.

Token Server URL—Enter the API URL for the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint client profile as https://login.microsoftonline.com/<tenant-ID>/oauth2/v2.0/token.
Note:The previously mentioned details are obtained as follows:

The client ID (Application (client) ID) and <tenant-ID> (Directory (tenant) ID) are available on the Overview page of the installed Defender for Endpoint-Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP) application in the Microsoft Azure Active Directory portal.

The secret (Value) is available on the Certificates & secrets > New Client Secret page of the installed Defender for Endpoint-Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol (SCEP) application in the Microsoft Azure Active Directory portal.
