Installing the PSM Extension

To install the PSM extension, complete the following steps:

1. In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, click the menu icon to open the Global menu.

   The Global menu is displayed with menu items represented as tiles.

2. In the Extensions tile, click Manage.

   The Extensions page is displayed, along with the installed and available extensions under their respective tabs.

3. Under the Available Extensions tab, in the PSM tile, click Install.

   The PSM installation side panel is displayed.

4. Enter the required details as follows:

   • Name—Enter a name for the PSM extension.

   • PSM Host—Enter the host IP address used to connect to AMD Pensando.

     Note:

     The PSM extension supports the addition of up to 3 hosts.

   • Username—Enter your AMD Pensando username.

   • Password—Enter your AMD Pensando password.

   • Scope level—Select the network scope for policy enforcement.

   • Assign To Scope—Select the scope object based on the selected scope level.

   • Agent Site—Select a site in which the PSM agent is to be deployed. PSM agents are installed directly on AOS-CX switches on-site, and directly connects to HPE Aruba Networking Central.

   • PSM Agent Switch—Select a switch within the site.

   • PSM Agent Image URL—Provide an http server-accessible URL from the switch.

   Note:

   The PSM Agent Switch option is displayed only when an agent site is selected and the PSM Agent Image URL option is displayed only when a PSM agent switch is selected.

5. Click Install.
