Creating a Policy

To create a policy and enable the CX specific distributed service firewall, complete the following steps:

1. In the Classic Central app, turn on the New Central toggle switch.

   The HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page is displayed.

2. On the Sites menu, select a PSM-specific site from the list.

3. Click the configuration icon.

4. Click Library.

5. Click the Profiles tab on the left.

6. On the Security card, click Network Policies.

   Alternatively, you can complete the following steps:

   1. On the Security card, click Manage.

   2. On the Network Policies card, click Manage.
      

   The Network Policies list view is displayed.

7. In the Network Policies table, click Create Policy.

8. In the Create Policy side panel, configure the following parameters:

   • Name—Enter a name of the policy.

   • Description—Enter a description of the policy.

   • Switch Specific Parameters—Select the option to view the switch-specific parameters.

   • Distributed Services Firewall—Select this option to enable CX specific distributed service firewall for PSM.

9. Click Create.

   The following image displays the policy creation panel.
