Installing the vSphere Extension
To install the vSphere extension, complete the following steps:

In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, click the menu
icon to open the Global menu.The Global menu is displayed with menu items represented as tiles.

In the Extensions tile, click Manage.
The Extensions page is displayed, along with the installed and available extensions under their respective tabs.

Under the Available Extensions tab, in the vSphere tile, click Install.

The vSphere installation side panel is displayed.

Enter the required details as follows:

Name—Enter a name for the vSphere extension.
Note: A vSphere extension configured with a user-defined name may not be found in the switch container. This is by design, as the system uses the vSphere container name rather than the user-defined name. -
vCenter Hostname or IP Address—Enter the hostname or IP address used to connect to vCenter.

Username—Enter your vCenter username.

Password—Enter your vCenter password.

Agent Site—Select a site in which the vSphere agent is to be deployed. vSphere agents are installed directly on AOS-CX switches on-site, and directly connects to HPE Aruba Networking Central.

vSphere Agent Switch—Select a switch within the site.

vSphere Agent Image URL—Provide an http server-accessible URL from the switch.
Note:-
The vSphere Agent Switch option is displayed only when an agent site is selected and the vSphere Agent Image URL option is displayed only when a vSphere agent switch is selected.

The vSphere Agent Image URL field displays an agent image URL corresponding to the onboarded switch.

Click Install.
