Viewing Virtual Machine-Specific Information in Side Bar

The side bar is displayed on the Virtual Machines in the list view, from which you can get insights about the overall status of individual virtual machines at a site.

To view the side bar, complete the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Virtual Machines list view. For more information, see Viewing Virtual Machines in the List View.

  2. Click on any virtual machine row.

    The virtual machine-specific information is displayed on the side bar.

The following table describes the fields in the side bar.

Heading

Description

IP Addresses

Displays the IP addresses of the virtual machine.

MAC Addresses

Displays the MAC addresses of the virtual machine.

Server

Displays the server or host name.

Data Center

Displays the data center name from vSphere.

Connectivity

Displays the information about the virtual machine’s connectivity. This section appears only for online clients and covers the following fields:

  • Connected To—Displays the name of the device the virtual machine is connected to.

  • Port—Displays the number of ports available in the virtual machine.

  • Speed—Displays the speed available in the virtual machine.
