Managed Service Provider (MSP)
What are the enhancements expected on the MSP portal?
MSPs can utilize enhanced visibility to tenants’ full-stack network health metrics through the MSP dashboard monitoring capabilities. This includes the Tenant List view and Summary Network Overview Card view with rich telemetry to site and device health. For more information, see Managed Service Provider.
Can I utilize configurations on the MSP portal?
Yes. MSPs can continue to utilize device configurations on Classic Central for MSP level configurations. Hierarchical configurations are available at the tenant level for customers who do not use MSP group mapping.
Why do I not see any data?
In the HPE Aruba Networking Central, sites are mandatory constructs. If tenant accounts do not have a site configured, no data will be displayed in the MSP Dashboard. To fully utilize the capabilities of HPE Aruba Networking Central, ensure that sites are created and provisioned with devices in each tenant account. If issue persists, please follow the Support process.
How do I manage Alerts, Firmware and other features on the MSP?
To manage Alerts, Firmware and other features, use the respective functionalities in Classic Central at the MSP level. These capabilities are fully functional at the individual tenant level and can be utilized from there.
When my tenant users log in directly to their accounts, do they see the toggle button?
Yes. Tenant users are able to switch to Classic Central using the toggle button.
