Why is the datapath different between Classic Central and HPE Aruba Networking Central?
In HPE Aruba Networking Central, client datapaths are derived based on LLDP information from the device during setup, whereas in Classic Central, the datapath is derived from the client state message. For more information, see Connectivity.
Why are gateway clients more prevalent in Classic Central compared to HPE Aruba Networking Central?
In Classic Central, wireless tunneled clients are displayed both as AP clients and as gateway-wired clients. In contrast, in HPE Aruba Networking Central, AP tunneled clients are shown only as AP clients and not as gateway clients. For more information, see Viewing Clients in List View.
