Accessing Floorplan Manager
To access the floorplan manager, complete the following steps:

In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site from the Sites menu.
The site dashboard is displayed with the network and connectivity information for the site.

From the Sites list, select a site for which you want to see the location of the devices.
Optionally, you can click the expand
icon to search and select a site. The Site dashboard displays the site health, device health, and the number of clients connected to a specific site.The HPE Aruba Networking Central page is set to the selected site context.

In the HPE Aruba Networking Central landing page, select a site for which you want to see the location of the devices from the Sites menu.
Alternatively, you can click the expand
icon on the Sites menu to search for a site from the list.The Site dashboard displays the site health, device health, and the number of clients connected to a specific site.
The HPE Aruba Networking Central page is set to the selected site context.

Click the location
icon to navigate to the Floorplan Manager in the selected Site page.
The Site page accommodates all the buildings available across locations in your account by zooming out the floorplan manager to the maximum. If you want to view the buildings near the selected site address, click the reset icon.
The Floorplan Manger can be viewed in three modes:-
Satellite view

Street view
-
3D view

The Floorplan Manager displays the following:

Site image
-
Site address
-
Site timezone
-
Site configuration type
-
Number of devices that are not assigned to any floorplan but available in the site
-
Number of devices available in the site but not deployed on any floorplan

Map of the building as rendered by the site latitude and longitude and site address
-
Number of floorplans available in the building represented in a stack. Each floor card is clickable and can be navigated further to view details of a specific floorplan

Total number of clients along with the health of the clients in a site. It displays all the clients connected to the AP, Gateway, or Switch in the selected site.
Click the Action drop-down list to create floorplans, match and replace APs on the floorplan, migrate sites, import floorplans, or assign devices to the floorplans.
Hover over any floor card in the building to view the floor name, floor number, building name, number of devices assigned on the floor, and number of devices that are placed on the floor but not assigned. The specific floor also gets highlighted when you hover the mouse.
Hover over any building name to view the number of floors in the building and the total number of devices in all the floors of the building.
Click on any of the floor cards to view the floor details. A side panel is displayed with the following information:

Building —Name of the building.

Floor Number— Number of the selected floor.

Ceiling Height—Height of the building ceiling.
-
Devices—Number devices assigned to the selected floorplan.

Device Type— Type of the device deployed on the floorplan.
-
Health—Device count on each floor based on the health status displayed in color code.

Edit icon—Enables you to edit the floor properties.
-
Clients—Number of clients connected to the network on the selected floorplan.
To navigate to the floor context, click View Floor Plan.
