Floorplan Dashboard

The Floorplan dashboard can be accessed from a site context or an access point context.

Limitations

• The floorplans available in Classic Central user interface are not available in HPE Aruba Networking Central user interface, until you migrate them.

• While creating a floor, you must only use a maximum of 10 MB image file. The floor creation fails if you use bigger files than 10 MB.

• Currently, though Floorplan Manager only supports APs, the client count in the floorplan dashboard displays all the clients available in the site associated with all the device types, APs, Gateways, Switches.

Known Issues

• If clients are only seen by one AP, triangulation is not possible and the returned position of the client will be the AP position, therefore client will end up on top of AP on the floormap.

  Note:

  This is strictly a UI issue and the computation is accurate.

• Only one client is visible on the floorplan when you have same location for multiple clients.

• In the floorplan detail side panel, under Health, the device count for the floor is not considered for the down devices.

• In the floorplan detail side panel, under Health, the device count for the floor is not updated immediately after assigning the devices.
