Floorplan Management

After you select the required site, you can create a building, and then a floor in order to assign devices. For more information on how to select a site, see Accessing Floorplan Manager.

Supported Floorplan Image Formats

You can create a floorplan by uploading the floor image file from your local system and assigning it to an existing or a new building. The supported image formats to create a floorplan are- BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPG, PDF, PNG, and SVG.

While creating a floorplan, there are two options to scale a floor:

• Geo-locate the floor on the map—This option can be used when you want to tag the floorplan on the map to automatically scale the floor.

• Measure the floor—This option can be used in case you do not want to tag any floorplan on the map for privacy or security reasons.
