Floorplan Manager

The Floorplan Manager can be accessed from a site context or an access point context. The Floorplan Manager serves as the initial starting point for initiating location-aware services within New HPE Aruba Networking Central. In this dashboard, you can create the site properties, including buildings and floors, and can upload and configure the floorplans. After creating the floors, you can then assign the devices to the floors so the system can begin the process of auto-placing the APs.

Known Issues

• While assigning devices to the floorplan, if the User Interface stops responding, cancel and restart the workflow.

• While creating a floorplan if the floorplan image file size is greater than 10 MB, there might be intermittent issues while creation.

• The floorplan might take more than few seconds to load.

• To deploy newly added devices or adjust the position of the already deployed devices on the floor, you must remove all the devices from the floor and perform the deployment again. To remove all the devices, see Removing Access Points from Floorplan in Floorplan Dashboard.

• In the Create Floor page, floor map does not load if the user shifts the browser during the floor creation.
